Four Points by Sheraton Louisville Airport
This hotel was not in downtown but was closer to the horse tracks. It served a complimentary breakfast and parking was also free. It was a standard people that served it’s purpose.

Joe’s Crab Shack
We were looking for a quick bite to eat before the riverboat cruise and Joe’s Crab Shack is just down from the boat dock. The food was good and had a friendly environment.

Belle Louisville Riverboat Tour
The evening cruise is a chance to sit back and enjoy the Louisville waterfront. They also offer other cruises and on special occasions, there are themed cruises like Murder Mystery.

Churchill Downs
Churchill Downs has so much history and is one of the most well-known horse racing tracks. When we went the races were suspended for the horses safety, so unfortunately we did not get a chance to see the horses race but will have to go back as some point.

Kentucky Derby Museum
The museum has a ton of different exhibits to learn about all the different horses, jockeys, and the history of the track. They offer a variety of different tours to see different parts of the grounds.

Hermitage Farm
As a part of a tour we did at the Kentucky Derby Museum, we visited the Hermitage Farm which was amazing. There were horse running in the fields, a bourbon tasting, and lunch provided from their restaurant.

Bats baseball game
If I go somewhere and they have a baseball team, you can almost always beat that I will be going to a game. Who doesn’t love a chill with a beer and a hot dog.

Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory
The factory tour is a great experience to be able to see who all the bats are made from the very beginning to the end product. Then at the end you get to take home a mini wooden bat.
