Bekah’s Savannah Itinerary
Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah
This trolley is a hop on hop off system, so it made it easy to be able to see all the different attractions of the city and not worry about parking. There are about 15 different stops for you to explore what your want. Below are the stops I would recommend. You could also just stay on the trolley and enjoy the conductors commentary and fun facts about the city.

Forsythe Park
This was the first stop that we chose to get off the trolley. This park has beautiful landscaping with the centerpiece being the fountain. There are a ton of walking paths to see the different gardens and historic monuments around the park.

Collins Quarter at Forsythe
After walking around the park we decided to stop for a quick bite to eat and coffee. There is a patio outside so you can still enjoy the weather while you take a breather before we got back on the trolley.

The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist
Home to the catholic diocese of Savannah, this church has some impressive architecture and stunning works of stained glass windows. You can take a self-guided tour of the even more impressive interior of the building.

River Street
The next stop on the trolley tour was River street. Take a walk along the Savannah River or do some shopping at the stores that line the road or at the River Street Market Place. Take a seat on one of the many benches along the river and watch the boats pass by.

Lizzy’s Burger Bar
After a long day of walking and exploring, it was time for some food. They have your traditional American food along with some milkshakes too. After some food we hoped back on the trolley to get back to the start of the trolley routes to head back to Hilton Head.
