Let me introduce myself

Hi, I’m Bekah. A civil engineer born and raised in Ohio, just trying to find the time away from my 9-5 to travel.

You may have noticed the drawings trough-out the site and gotten curious asking yourself, did she really draw all these pictures, and does a travel blogger not really take pictures. And the answer to both of those questions is yes and I will tell you why. I believe that it is hard to sense of the place I am visiting when I have my phone up taking pictures the whole time and lets me real, you are taking a picture of something that millions of other people have already taken a picture of. Don’t get me wrong I have taken my far share of selfies. I’ll I’m saying is to ask yourself if you would rather be taking a picture with your phone or a mental picture. I draw all the places instead of taking pictures so that I give myself more time to live in moment and soak it all up.

I do draw some of my drawings based on pictures, but pictures that are already out there on the internet. I also will draw my drawings when I am actually traveling. it gives me a chance to make sure I am paying attention to all the little details and the colors I am seeing.

A lot of people enjoy the actual vacation the most but for me I enjoy the time before spent planning the trip. Planning a trip is no easy task though and that’s where I come in. I’m here to help you take the next steps with you in being able to plan your dream vacation you’ve always wanted to take.
